• Promote a culture of evaluation and quality in Distance Higher Education;

  • Contribute to preparing guidelines and instruments for evaluation, accreditation and certification of Degree Awards, Programs and Services for Distance Higher Education;

  • Generate mechanisms to acknowledge quality based on shared criteria, indicators and standards for Distance Higher Education;

  • Advise universities on evaluating quality and accreditation in Distance Higher Education in Latin America and the Caribbean;

  • Coordinate efforts and collaborate with national accreditation agencies in Distance Higher Education systems.
