This virtual course will enable you to apply the theoretical and methodological foundation to evaluate virtual courses for ongoing education.

  • Self-Assessment of undergraduate distance programs

This virtual course will enable you to apply the theoretical and methodological foundation to evaluate distance undergraduate programs.
This training program will give you the opportunity to review major topics providing the basic elements to evaluate distance programs, overall considerations for evaluation, the self-assessment model, self-assessment records, and final reports.

  • Scorecard (SCCQAP) OLC/CALED

This virtual course will teach you about the combined evaluation system called Scorecard (SCCQAP) Sloan-C/CALED. The model comprises 91 indicators drawn from research and good practices, whereby an automated information gathering system enables self-assessment of an on-line education program in higher education.
 
In this learning program, you will have the opportunity to understand the theoretical and methodological foundation for evaluating on-line education programs using the OLC/CALED Scorecard.

 

  • Evaluating Accessible Virtual Courses

This virtual course will enable you to apply the theoretical and methodological foundation to evaluate accessible virtual courses.
This learning program will give you the opportunity to examine the process of self-assessment for virtual courses, considering criteria of accessibility based on the “Guide for evaluating virtual courses for ongoing education (CALED) and the Methodological guide to implement accessible virtual curricular developments (ESVIAL Project)".

 

TARGET AUDIENCE:

Institutions, Authorities, Professors at Virtual Academic Units.


STUDY MODALITY:

Distance study with virtual support, requiring Internet connection.


CERTIFICATION:

At the end of the course, each participant will receive the respective certification, indicating the number of hours of course duration.
